My name is Allegra Love.
Most people call me Legs. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am a lawyer licensed in New Mexico and admitted in the District Court of New Mexico. I mostly practice immigration law with a focus on humanitarian cases and family based cases on the U.S. border, in detention centers, and in community based settings. I have created and developed and participated in non-profit legal service projects both large and small.
I am also a licensed teacher in New Mexico. I have a teaching license for K-12 with bilingual and world language endorsements. I sometimes teach officially with the public schools but more often seek out opportunities to support educators in their work with immigrant communities and educating their students about immigration law and policy.
I love living in New Mexico and doing all the excellent things a person can do here: mountain biking; hunting; camping; fishing; swimming; exploring. I love to cook and ride bikes and sing country songs. The most important thing to me is family, friends, and community.
